I just happen to think the world would be a lot better if women took up more space within it. Despite all sorts of advances for women legally, socially, and economically we’re still not seeing women represented in business, entertainment, politics, or any area of society for that matter, in a manner proportionate to our numbers.
Why is that?
When a society wasn’t built by you or for you but by those who didn’t necessarily envisage you taking up a lot of space within it, could that hold a woman back?
I think it can and it does and it manifests in feelings of not being “enough”, of not being “good enough”.
I wrote The Little Book of Good Enough as an antidote to that feeling. It’s a tool-kit for girls and women to go from “Dare I?” to “Hell Yeah!”.
Now, more than ever, we need girls and women to step forward, into their power, into bigger lives - lives where they are certain of their worth, confident that they are good enough.
It’s time for change. Are you in?
